Raffle Details at a Glance
- The Art of Healing Raffle (the “Raffle”) is available from August 9, 2023 at 12:00 pm PT, to October 21, 2023, 3:00 pm PT, inclusive (the “Raffle Period”). The draw will be performed on October 21, 2023, at 7:00 pm PT (the “Draw Date”) at the Sunshine Coast Botanical Garden located at 5941 Mason Rd, Sechelt, BC V0N 3A9.
- Tickets may be purchased online and are available only to those who are in British Columbia at the time of purchase.
- Purchasers must be nineteen (19) years of age or older at the time of purchase. Government identification will be required for proof of age should a participant be declared an eligible winner.

This raffle is being operated under BC Gaming Event License 143910. The Raffle
consists of a total of the following ticket packages (the “Ticket Packages”):
- Package A: 4 tickets for $20 – 1,500 available for a total of 6,000 tickets
- Package B: 10 tickets for $40 – 1,500 available for a total of 15,000 tickets
- Package C: 20 tickets for $60 – 500 available for a total of 10,000 tickets
How to Participate

To be eligible, a participant (“Participant”) must meet the following
conditions:
- Nineteen (19) years of age or older at the time of purchase
- Located in British Columbia at the time of purchase
- Agree to the rules and privacy terms of the Raffle
- Not an employee, director or board member, nor reside with an employee, director or board member, of Splashdot or the Sechelt Hospital Foundation

To participate in the Raffle during the Raffle Period, a participant
(“Participant”) must:
- Access the Raffle website at www.artofhealing.splashdot.com
- Choose the number and type of desired Ticket Packages.
- Enter the required personal information fields so that Participant may be contacted should they win.
- Agree to the rules and privacy terms of the Raffle.
- Complete the transaction by paying for the chosen Ticket Packages using a valid method of payment.
- Complete the transaction by paying for the chosen Ticket Packages using a valid method of payment. The purchase of a ticket is final and absolutely no refunds will be offered under any circumstances.
- Completed ticket orders (the “Ticket Order”) will appear both on the website once the transaction is confirmed and will be emailed to the Participant at the email address used during the purchase process.
Raffle Draw
- A random draw will take place on October 21, 2023, at 7:00 pm PT at the Sunshine Coast Botanical Garden located at 5941 Mason Rd, Sechelt, BC V0N 3A9, from all eligible tickets purchased. One ticket draw number and associated drawn participant (“Drawn Participant”) will be chosen along with five (5) different alternate tickets and associated alternate drawn participants (“Alternate Drawn Participant”) for the prize offered.
- Should the above noted draw not take place on the stated date due to circumstances beyond Sechelt Hospital Foundation’s control, a revised date will be posted and available to be viewed by all Purchasers on the raffle website at www.artofhealing.splashdot.com.
- The Grand Prize will be awarded to the eligible winner, who will receive a vacation package valued at $7,500, including 2 round trip Air Canada tickets valid for travel to any Air Canada scheduled destination in North America including Hawaii, Mexico and the Caribbean.
- Drawn Participants will be contacted using the information that they provided within the Raffle website to ensure that they meet all eligibility requirements of the Raffle.
- If any of the Drawn Participants cannot be reached or cannot prove that they meet eligibility within ten (10) days following the Draw, they will be disqualified, and the next Alternate Drawn Participant will be deemed the Drawn Participant for that particular prize. This process will continue until a Drawn Participant can be confirmed as the eligible winner (“Eligible Winner”)
- If a Drawn Participant ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor’s parent, legal guardian or trustee.
- The odds of being selected as a Drawn Participant are dependent on the number of eligible ticket tickets sold.
Other Conditions
- By participating in this Raffle, a Participant agrees to release the Licensee, its agents, including Splashdot and its promotional agencies, (collectively the “Releasees”), from any claims or demands in respect of the Raffle and any Prize they may receive. A Participant also agrees to indemnify and save the Releasees harmless from and against any and all actions, claims or demands (including costs incurred by the Releasees defending such actions, claims or demands) brought against the Releasees by the Participant with respect to the Raffle or any Prize they may receive.
- Licensee reserves the right to disqualify Participants that do not comply with these rules. A disqualified Participant is not eligible to win the Prize.
- By participating in this Raffle, Participants agree that the Licensee may publish and/or broadcast, in any medium without remuneration, consideration or compensation the name, location and photo of Eligible Winners.
- Releasees are not responsible for any transaction or transmission of the data that is incomplete. A transaction is only completed when the Participant receives confirmation thereof on the Raffle website and by email to the email address with which they made their purchase.
- Releasees are not liable for any loss or damage incurred by Participants related to or resulting from participating in this Raffle or downloading any material related thereto.
- All references to dollar amounts are in Canadian funds. All monetary prizes will be awarded in Canadian funds.
- All submitted entries are the property of the Licensee and will be retained as prescribed by the Gaming Enforcement Branch of BC.
- Decisions of Licensee are final.
- Should a Purchaser or any other person have questions, concerns or complaints about the Raffle, they may contact Sechelt Hospital Foundation directly at 604-885-8637 or by email at sh.foundation@vch.ca. All concerns and complaints will be reviewed, addressed and dealt with on an individual basis as required.
- Your personal information is collected in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and will be used, accessed, disclosed and stored by Licensee and its service providers inside Canada.
